Appealing, structured, stimulating

Exercise maintains the balance between body and soul – at best, a life long. More and more modern medical supply shops are seizing the opportunity to showcase their extended portfolio with the aid of new types of interior design and lighting concepts. With its passion for brilliant details, lighting specialist Ansorg created for medical supply specialist Göldner a visually stimulating world for movement-assisting products. Collaborating closely with interior designer Elke Park of Parkraum, an expert in retail for the healthcare market, Ansorg came up with a lighting design that creates individual areas for different product categories and clearly structures the extremely heterogeneous variety of medical supplies. Regardless of what brings visitors to the shop, the light welcomes them in and directs them straight to the right product.

Thanks to the shared intention and excellent cooperation between Parkraum and Ansorg, the shop premises in Eggenfelden have completed the metamorphosis from a conventional medical supplies store to a modern retail outlet. The central element connecting all areas of the salesroom is an imposing tree structure. With spotlights mounted along electrical tracks trained along “ceiling branches”, Ansorg recreated the natural light of summer sun. The bright, friendly mood evoked by the beautifully coordinated luminaire programme makes for a consistent and harmonious look across all seven consultation areas. Depending on the requirements of the individual areas, the lighting is either stimulating and motivating or restrained to create an atmosphere of empathy and confidence. One deciding factor in the great success of the project was the quality and consistency of the service provided by Ansorg: “The professional alignment of all spotlights was highly impressive. Only when precisely coordinated and focused does the full effect of the lighting concept become apparent,” says Mr Göldner with conviction as he surveys the ceiling with great satisfaction.
