Reflectors in luminaires serve the purpose of light guidance. A high-quality, efficient reflector is a core aspect of the perfect retail lighting concept. It ensures that the light is directed to where it is needed: on the merchandise. Ansorg has been developing 3D facet reflectors that are tailored to modern lighting technology requirements for 9 years.
The facetted or textured surface of the reflector makes the effective guidance of the light flux from the LED source to the merchandise possible. What makes it special is that the light is reflected off the multiple Ansorg facets onto the target surface.
The advantages are:
The light emitted vertically from the LED module has a blueish tint, whereas the light emitted laterally is more yellow. The reflector mixes the light to achieve the perfect white colour.
Light expert Ansorg adapted its reflectors to the new technology before 2014 when the entire product portfolio switched over to LED and has since developed new LED reflectors. The advantage is that the Ansorg engineers are involved in the entire process, from design and construction to in-house tests in the light lab, measurements and calculations in the goniophotometer in Mülheim, to goods receipt and dispatch inspections, thereby guaranteeing the excellent performance of the 3D facet reflectors.
Depending on the reflector model, different luminous intensity distribution and beam angle scenarios can be achieved. The advantage of our luminaires is that almost all products are fitted with interchangeable reflectors. So once planned, the lighting concept isn’t static but can be easily changed. The reflector can be changed in seconds, transforming a middle floodlight into a spotlight in the blink of an eye.
